A Message from the Common Table

September 9, 2017

I had way too many words for you last month, with all the stuff about the solar eclipse. I will be brief this month.

The Great American Eclipse has come and gone, next one up is April 8, 2024.

The September meeting is going to be good. I will be showing how to recover files from a failing hard drive. Bill Barnes will show the best ways to avoid this type of recovery, by showing you methods of backing up your stuff to begin with.

I hope to see all of you at the meeting. I will still want to show my video of the eclipse and talk about the experience. Please share your experiences as well.

Galen Bolin
President, PCCC

We meet the second Thursday of the month at the Better Business Bureau in Matthews (directions below). Please bring your bag supper and join us to chew the fat about 5:45 or come for just the program promptly at 6:30.

After the eclipse; between Harvey and Irma and the election coming up and, hopefully, no way José; your faithful staff has not had time to write anything pithy — or even lame. Unfortunately, our long list of stringers (all 133 of you who subscribe to these bits) has not come through either. Send your scribbles for publication to editor@pc3.org Maybe next month.

The PCCC meets at the BBB in Matthews.
